FAQs
Is there an income requirement or any other prerequisites for joining ASCEND?
While there is not a specific income requirement, this program is intended for experienced bloggers and online business owners who are currently earning significant income from your online business, or who have some sort of previous or outside business experience you can bring to the group. In order to be considered, you must have completed the Product Launch Playbook Academy curriculum, and you must be a member of the ACTIVATE coaching program.
Who is ASCEND for? How do I know I'd be a good fit?
Mostly we're looking for go-getters and action takers--bloggers and online business owners who have seen some success, but who are ready to level up in a big way. We're looking for people who embody grit, persistence, and a willingness to try new things. You should also be someone who is good at taking honest feedback, even when it comes in the form of tough love. And you should be someone who is willing to take risks and step outside of what is comfortable in order to grow.
What if I don't get accepted? Will there still be other opportunities for accountability & high-level coaching within the ACTIVATE coaching program?
Yes of course! We'll still offer Level 3 office hours and Copy Jam several times a month, as well as our monthly Advanced Coaching sessions and our SCALE curriculum. Plus, in 2022 we will be adding in more Level 3 workshop opportunities for you to mastermind and collaborate with your peers.
What will my 1:1 Strategy Session be like?
Before you meet individually with Ruth, you'll fill out an extensive survey to share more details about your current product lineup, revenue, marketing strategy, and goals, as well as any issues that you are currently dealing with. This will help her have a strong understanding of your business and how it works so that she is fully prepared when you meet.
You'll then sit down for 60-90 minutes to talk through big strategy, as well as troubleshoot any major issues, and come up with a solid plan of action for the coming year.
Will there be more opportunities for 1:1 Coaching with Ruth?

How long will our weekly meetings be?
They will typically be scheduled for 60 minutes, but we recommend blocking out 75 minutes just in case the discussion runs over.
Will we meet every single week all year long?
While we know weekly meetings are the best way to get to know each other's businesses well enough to foster deeper, more meaningful conversations, we also know that sometimes everyone needs a break. That's why we will meet weekly EXCEPT for during Focus Week each month, which will always be indicated on the main ACTIVATE calendar.
