Thanks for the reminders! After writing a post using a personal story to help drive home my point, I’m going to review it using these tips.
    Much appreciated.

This couldn’t have come at a more perfect time. Part of my blog will be on inspiration and my personal story applies to helping people who have had a similar situation but that’s not all it is about so this was great advice. Thanks. Charlene

Um… should this title read “How TO share…”
Interesting way to structure a blog post, i know you all are probably right but I am all about the overshare… i will use this lens though to see if it’s something I notice in blogs i’m drawn to….

I am too! I’m in the process of starting a blog about my personal struggles with addiction, and I feel its the most important way to gain readers, especially family of someone with addiction issues because they’re looking for some way to better understand their loved ones, given addiction is a truly complex disease and, to put it bluntly, addicts lie to cover up their habits so family should know what to expect and why their mom/son/sister, etc Might be using and how get them the help they need. I think with addiction recovery, there’s no such thing as over sharing. It helps knowing someone has been through the same effed up stuff as you.
